Michael K. Galvin has been a stylist for over 30 years. After graduating
beauty school, he became a platform artist for many major companies including
Paul Mitchell. He opened MKG Salon in Cranston in 1984.
Education has always been a very important part of Michael's career. He was
a partner in several Paul Mitchell "The Schools" throughout the country, with
his first school opening in 2003. Along with John Paul DeJoria of John Paul Systems,
Michael follows the mantra "Success unshared is failure."
Michael explains "we have outstanding and talented hairdressers, including
those that have been with MKG Salon for over 25 years." Michael, along with the
team at Michael K. Galvin Salon strive to be the best in the
beauty industry.
Michael is a winner of over 24 major awards and competitions, and he was voted
Best Hairstylist in Southern New England. Awards include:
